Dear neighbors,
The quality of life in Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Westminster and Midway City has been neglected for too long. Orange County is one of America’s richest counties, but we lack health care facilities and county parks in our district. My top priority as Supervisor will be health care and parks.
I arrived in Orange County in 1980 after escaping from Communist Vietnam. I understand what it means to struggle. I held various jobs from picking strawberries to being a custodian while attending high school, Santa Ana College, and CSULB. Education is the path to the American Dream.
I served in the U.S. Army for 15 years, including service in the first Gulf War. Upon my return, I worked full-time for Orange County while attending law school. Today, as an attorney, I represent consumers, and small businesses.
I’ve been married for 12 years to my wife Amy, an engineer. We have a beautiful 2-year-old daughter. I love this community. I’m committed to serving all residents who live here.
As your Supervisor, I will fight to reduce crime by investing in police. We must support our brave police, soldiers and firefighters.
